HOW DO I KNOW IF I QUALIFY FOR HOME CARE SERVICES?

1st Care of new Mexico proudly accepts Presbyterian, Molina, United Health Care, and Blue Cross Blue Shield Centennial Care. recipients who possess a Medicaid centennial card may qualify for in personal care services.  If you or someone you know may be interested in receiving in personal care services, please stop by any one of our convenient office locations and our staff will gladly assist you in the process

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME (CLIENT) TO GET A CAREGIVER?

As a Client, you do have the right to choose your own Caregiver. Once authorization is approved, the Caregiver then can begin working. If the agency needs to provide a Caregiver for due to COVID-19, Each office varies.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY HOURS WILL I BE APPROVED FOR?

1st Care of New Mexico does NOT determine how many hours you will be approved for. The MCO will determine after they evaluate for what a client can do based on their Daily Assisted Activities.

CAN MY CAREGIVER TRANSPORT ME?

Unfortunately, 1st Care of New Mexico is a non-transportation agency. However, the Caregiver is able to pick charity food boxes, groceries, and/or medications. This could only be done 1-2 times a week.

WHO PAYS FOR THE SERVICES?

The services are FREE if you have FULL Medicaid benefits. You will never have to pay out of pocket for your services. 1st Care of New Mexico does all the billing for you.
